Girls Rock Roanoke
Fill the Fender Campaign Video
Originally produced in 2014, this campaign video for Girls Rock Roanoke continues to reflect the lasting impact of creative expression. I filmed and edited the piece to support the nonprofit’s “Fill the Fender” fundraising initiative, capturing the energy and joy of girls and women learning, performing, and collaborating through music.
By combining live performances, candid documentary-style moments, and photography, the video creates an enduring portrait of a program that empowers participants of all ages to embrace their creativity. It’s a reminder that music and art are universal — and that a well-told story can inspire connection and community long after it’s made.
